Eagle Eye Produce's inaugural Grower Spotlight features Dan Corn, an integral part of the onion program.
Corn started farming back in 2005 when he was just 20 years old and has been working with Eagle Eye Produce since the beginning of his career. He and his wife, Melissa, were also just recently presented the Nyssa Chamber of Commerce’s Agriculturist of the Year Award. "Dan and Melissa are staples and stewards of their community, and we are very happy for them and all of their many accomplishments," said Dallin Klingler, who handles marketing and communications.
Eagle Eye Produce continues to invest in projects like the Grower Spotlight series to try to form a personal relationship between the grower and the end consumer. Food is a deeply personal thing, and personal connection is something that we seem to have less of these days. It is easy to get wrapped up in the market and the end product, but we need to continue to shine a spotlight on the people behind the food and the brands.
"Dan shares the same passion that all of us do at Eagle Eye Produce for putting healthy food on tables all over the globe," said Klingler. "We are looking forward to featuring more of our growers through this series, and we hope that it brings value to our customers and the industry."
