The Viva Fresh Expo will not be taking place April 29-May 2. Concerns for the health and safety of attendees, exhibitors, staff and volunteers surrounding COVID-19 have thrown the event into limbo. The meeting was to be held in San Antonio.
The event’s website indicated March 12 that the leaders are “reviewing options for either postponement or cancellation and we’ll keep you updated on our progress.”
Viva Fresh is presented by the Texas International Produce Association.
“In the meantime, our valued sponsors, exhibitors and paid attendees have the option to receive full credit that can be applied to the 2021 Viva Fresh Expo," the Texas International Produce Association said in a statement. "If you would like a refund, TIPA will provide an 80 percent refund (less PayPal fees for payments made by card). Your support in taking advantage of the credit option will go a long way in ensuring our ability to continue to deliver the exceptional trade show experience that the Viva Fresh Expo has become known for."
