The POM Group of Mississauga, ON, announced the release of a new line — fresh pomegranate arils — under the Royal brand. Distribution will be nation-wide in both Canada and the United States.

Royal brand pomegranate arils will be offered as a year-round program. Fresh pomegranates will be facilitated through its Canadian manufacturing facility to produce sweet and juicy arils year-round. The strategic location of the manufacturing facility will allow for shorter transportation times to major retail destinations.

As the first release, Royal Arils will be available in 122-gram clamshells and a one-kilogram food consumer pack. The POM Group plans for smaller snack-size packs and larger consumer products in the near future.
