Wegmans Food Markets and Publix have been recognized by Fortune as two of the Best Workplaces for Millennials. Wegmans came in at No. 16 (down from 12 last year), while Publix ranked No. 34, up from No. 62 last year; this is the fourth consecutive year both companies have ranked.

Millennials, those born between 1981 and 1998, make up about 38 percent of Wegmans' employees and 42 percent of Publix’s workforce.

The companies featured on this year’s Fortune list are determined by anonymous surveys conducted by Great Place to Work. Millennials were surveyed on their experiences at their companies, their ability to reach their full potential at their place of work, company values, effectiveness of their leaders and other factors.
