Wonderful Pistachios will launch a new digital campaign on Oct. 18 to continue supporting the new Wonderful Pistachios No Shells Chili Roasted and Honey Roasted flavors, which entered the snack scene on July 29.
The successful new No Shells flavors launched with distribution in 55,000 stores nationwide and debuted as the No. 1 new release on Amazon in the snack nuts category. The bright red and orange packaging, which was introduced as part of a larger packaging refresh, has provided a differentiated look allowing the new flavors to stand out, easily communicate the flavor, and drive sales directly from the shelf.
This campaign will feature a variety of comical digital content and will run through January 2020, with a stronger focus on the months of October and November. It aims to reach “adventurous snackers,” which the brand defines as those who love snacking and are always looking for an edgy, adventurous way to experience a tried and true flavor.
With the launch of this campaign, total investment for the two new flavors has summed to over $1.5 million, which also includes participation in Amazon’s Born To Run program, two dedicated FSIs — one in October and one in November — and other initiatives.
The campaign concepts will be shown at the PMA Fresh Summit in Anaheim, CA, at the company’s booth No. 4137.
Wonderful Pistachios No Shells Chili Roasted and Honey Roasted are made with non-GMO ingredients, and are available in 5.5-ounce bags for $6.99, 2.25-ounce bags for $3.29, and 22-ounce bags for $15.98.
