Umina Bros., a Los Angeles-based produce distributor, has joined forces with Choumas Produce.  The two family-owned companies have complimentary product lines and are combining into one entity, Umina Bros., to complete a full-line produce distribution point.

"This union will benefit our customers through enhanced product offering without sacrificing service,” said Richard Flamminio of Umina Bros. “Jack [Choumas] and his team come with a lot of experience and product knowledge. It is exciting to have two family companies, each being established for 100 years, working together towards the same goal".

The integration has already begun and is set to be finalized Jan. 28.
