Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania and Vermont, hired Kelly Quigley to the position of general manager of Tops Grocery Distribution Center.

Quigley joins the Tops team after holding various leadership positions within Sumitomo Rubber, North American and American Sales Co. Most recently she held the position of operations manager of Sumitomo Rubber. She brings a wealth of experience working within a distribution environment as well as improving associate engagement while consistently hitting key performance metrics. Quigley and her family are residents of East Aurora, NY.

Last month Tops announced the promotion of Sandy Macpeek to the role of general manager of Tops frozen distribution facility in West Seneca, NY. Additionally, Tammy Hurley is currently the general manager in Tops perishable distribution center.

“To have all three major facilities being overseen by women, is a rare occurrence in our industry,” said Tabitha Rusk, HR manager of distribution for Tops Friendly Markets. “Warehousing is typically a male-dominated field; to have an all-woman leadership team makes this a pretty unique situation, one that we’re quite proud of.”
