Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania and Vermont, promoted Tom Knapp to produce and floral specialist in the east region for the Williamsville, NY-based company.

Knapp, who previously held the title of store manager of the Tops located in Greenville, NY, will now be responsible for the Syracuse Northeast and Hudson/Midstate District Tops stores. He will oversee all aspects of operations and merchandising for the produce and floral departments within these aforementioned districts.

Knapp began his career with Tops in 1991 as a produce clerk. Over his 27-year career with the company he has held various positions, including produce manager, non-perishable manager, assistant store manager and store manager. He and his family reside in Stamford, NY.
