LGS sought the BRC certification due to its unique set of standards that are tailored to the company’s role within the supply chain. BRC certification is a more rigorous standard within the Global Food Safety Initiative and is a great fit for LGS’ business model as an importer. As a certified company, BRC not only monitors LGS for compliance, but also verifies all of its suppliers for implementation of food-safety and quality protocol.
