Southeastern Grocers Inc., parent company of BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie stores, announced an agreement to sell 23 total stores: 20 BI-LO stores to Alex Lee Inc., and two BI-LO stores and one Harveys Supermarket to B&T Foods. These agreements follow the company’s decision to fuel greater investment in its core banners.

The company will begin the transition of these stores to Alex Lee Inc. and B&T Foods later this month, and the process is expected to conclude in November. Southeastern Grocers will continue to assess options for the remaining BI-LO stores, including other potential transactions.
