Andrew Engles has joined Progressive Produce, effective May 18, as sales manager in the asparagus and wet veg division. For the past 14 years, he was with Markon Cooperative, where he most recently served as assistant purchasing director.

In his new role as sales manager, Engles will be working with Cory Stahl and the asparagus team to continue Progressive's ongoing strategy to expand, maintain, and solidify long lasting sustainable partnerships.

Engles' expertise over his career has been with a variety of wet veg items (asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, leafy greens) along with potatoes and onions. He has participated in the Produce Marketing Association's Emerging Leaders Program.

Scott Leimkuhler, senior vice president of sales, said Progressive is excited about having someone of Engles' caliber and experience on the team.
