Chiquita Brands International announced its new global partnership with the animated adventure The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part and the introduction of Banarnar — a Lego brick-built banana character making his big screen debut.
Starting mid-January and for a four-week period through the film’s Feb. 8 North American release, more than 300 million blue Chiquita stickers in the U.S. and several European countries will have some of the most recognizable characters from The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, including Banarnar, along with a code that will allow fans to play online games and win themed prizes. This program puts focus on key Chiquita brand principles around fun, collaboration and family values.
Starting Jan. 17, through Feb. 24, fans can enter the Chiquita Build For A Chance to Win promotion once a day by collecting the iconic film-themed Chiquita stickers in-store and submitting the unique codes at www.chiquita.com/build for a chance to win prizes, like tickets to see The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part in theaters, Lego brick sets and Lego e-gift cards. Fans can also find unique codes on the Chiquita Facebook page, which will be posted daily, throughout the promotion.
