Homegrown Organic Farms has added two new members to its sales team: Amanda Vietti and Stefaun Avakian. Both Vietti and Avakian will be operating as sales account mangers for the company.
Vietti has been with the company since December 2019 and prior to that was a sales associate with another San Joaquin Valley produce marketing company. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a bachelor's degree in agricultural business in 2013 and is still a firm believer in the university’s motto of “learn by doing.” She said, “I feel very blessed and excited to be a part of such a wonderful team. I am looking forward to the challenges this new role will bring and I am thankful for the opportunity.”
Avankian recently joined the Homegrown team in June 2020. He comes to the company with five years of industry experience, most recently with Imperfect Foods as a produce buyer. He graduated from California State University, Fresno in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in agricultural business. He said, “I am excited to begin this new organic adventure with the Homegrown team. I appreciate the strong leadership and team mentality within the organization as well as their strong values-based foundation.”
“As the company continues to grow, we continue to add extremely talented men and women to our staff," said Craig Morris, Homegrown Organic Farms’ citrus and grape category director. "I’m thrilled to have both Amanda and Stefaun join the team. Both individuals are dynamic and possess solid skills and industry experience and are poised to serve our customers and growers well.”
These new staff additions will help to prepare the company for its upcoming organic grape and citrus seasons and future growth of the company.
