The upcoming Eastern Produce Council gala will feature a new Casino Night format, when the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, NJ, will be transformed into a casino for an evening of fun and games.
The annual gala, now in its 53rd year, is known as the John J. McAleavey Annual Gala, named for the longtime and beloved former executive director, who died in 2015. It will be held Saturday, April 6.
While the venue will remain the same, the format of the night will be changing. The ballroom, traditionally set for a sit-down dinner, will feature an extended cocktail hour/dinner buffet from 7 to 9 p.m., with the casino opening its doors at 8 p.m. Adding to the night will be a DJ, photo booth, dessert extravaganza and more.
