The Eastern Produce Council’s 54th annual John J. McAleavey dinner dance, which was scheduled to take place May 2 at the Westmount Country Club, has been cancelled.

In response to the social distancing plan's April 30 extension, the Westmount Country Club has cancelled all of its scheduled events through May, including EPC’s Casino Night.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated on EPC events scheduled for later this spring,” Susan McAleavey Sarlund, executive director of EPC, said in a statement to members. "On behalf of the officers and directors of the council stay safe, be well, and thank you for your continued support of the Eastern Produce Council."
