Dandrea Produce LLC, headquartered in Vineland, NJ, has announced the passing of Ron Dandrea after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He died peacefully in the company of his wife and children on Saturday, April 11. He was 57 years old.

Mr. Dandrea joined Dandrea Produce in 1978, where he worked alongside his brothers and father for over 35 years, the company said, adding this his passion for produce was unparalleled. He was a stellar salesman who helped catapult the company to new heights during his early years, the firm noted.

His contributions to the produce industry are many, but his customers can attest to his commitment to excellence, his co-workers and employees to his admirable work ethic and sense of humor, and his friends and family to his love and devotion. The company added that the industry has suffered a great loss, as anyone who knew Mr. Dandrea will forever miss his infectious smile.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his daughters, Deanna and Ali; his son, Adam; his grandson, Liam; his brothers, Frank and Steve; his mother, Marie; and many nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers.

Due to restrictions to protect against COVID-19, the funeral service scheduled for Thursday, April 16 was limited to immediate family members.
