Coinciding with National Apple Month, the Cosmic Crisp campaign kicks into high gear this October with its inaugural tour event, as well as an official debut at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit event in Anaheim, CA.
First Flight: The Cosmic Crisp Experience tour brought brand ambassadors and product partners onsite to several locations throughout eastern Washington for a unique, hands-on learning event during this season’s harvest.
“The goal is to offer our ambassadors and partners an authentic harvest experience and immersive education about this truly groundbreaking apple. We are laying the foundation for each to tell the Cosmic Crisp story in a way that is meaningful to their audience and reinforces our differentiated brand,” said Proprietary Variety Management’s Director of Marketing Kathryn Grandy.
The Cosmic Crisp brand will be on full display at PMA Fresh Summit, the industry’s largest annual event bringing more than 20,000 attendees to Anaheim this month. Affiliated partners will feature the apple in their individual booths giving Washington state growers the opportunity to showcase this innovative, new product and offer a sneak peek at retail merchandising options. Exciting activations outside of the convention center are sure to increase the buzz around Cosmic Crisp at this year’s event.
With the official Dec. 1 ship date less than two months away, the timing for both events aligns perfectly, with an increased digital presence to generate more awareness among both trade and consumers.
