Congdon Orchards joins Sage Fruit Co.

sageSage Fruit Co. will add Congdon Orchards to its team of grower-packer-shippers of Washington tree fruit, effective Aug. 1. Congdon joins Sage Fruit to enhance the marketing, sales and distribution of its fruit. Through this new partnership, Sage Fruit will add considerable volume of Washington state apples, pears and cherries for this year’s apple and pear crops and the 2021 cherry crop.

Congdon joins Sage Fruit’s three additional packing facilities from central Washington (Legacy Fruit Packers LLC, Valicoff Fruit and Olympic Fruit). Congdon Orchards is a vertically integrated farming operation complete with its own packing and cold storage facilities and is one of Washington’s leading fruit producers.
